Who knew that Jack Sigg was so handsome? Or smart, or ambitious, or thoughtful, or driven, or honorable?
I can picture Ann with her giddy exuberance and poignant reasoning. From her horrendous sunburn to her curly locks, who wouldn’t fall in love with this lady? Neither Terry, nor Jack stood a chance of resisting. But only one could have her.
I was enthralled.

From the first page I was drawn into this memoir of love, adventure and heartache spanning two continents in the mid-1960s. A Rendezvous to Remember is a page-turning saga and history lesson of real life complexities in a time when American society was changing rapidly and those who were coming of age were being swept into a world where difficult choices had to be made. It is also a beautiful story of love and fate …how Ann must decide between two men who love her and whom she loves deeply.
For those of us who have “juggled” two loves, it is not hard to relate to Ann’s dilemma. Ann and Terry have given us the gift of an intimate look at love, friendship and the complicated way in which we navigate the path toward a happy life.

So much romance, so much adventure. If you’ve ever toured Europe or simply wish you had, this memoir will take you there! Intriguing descriptions of the Europe of yesterday and other beautiful places . . . stunningly visual, eloquently crafted, and interwoven with a real life love triangle that keeps you turning every page in sensuous anticipation. I could not put it down!

I didn’t know how ready I was for a whirlwind adventure until I set off with Annie on hers. Her heightened senses as she traipses across Europe remind me of my own when, fresh out of college, I set off for Sri Lanka to flesh out a largely postal relationship with my own love. Meanwhile, Terry is left pining in Boulder County, where he hastens the passage of time, and generates content for letters to Annie, by setting forth on adventures of his own. How will this all end? Who will get the girl? Well, we know, because we can read his name on the cover of the book. But it’s the journey that keeps the pages turning as the characters discern what it is, exactly, that makes for lifelong love.
